Avi Banyasz

Avi Banyasz is a Partner at TPG and Co-Managing Partner of TPG Real Estate. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Avi served as a Managing Principal of Westbrook Partners. At Westbrook, Avi had primary responsibility for investing in the United States and additionally spent several years focused on Westbrook’s Western European business. Prior to his 13-year tenure at Westbrook, Avi worked at Bear Stearns & Co. He received a BCom degree in Economics and Finance with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. He serves on the Boards of Directors of TPG RE Finance Trust, Inc. (NYSE: TRTX), of which he is Chairman, as well as Dogwood Properties, B2R Partners, and Intervest. He is a Trustee of both the Harlem Academy and Girls Who Invest.
